The Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Foundation for Television had already
established a web site popular among teachers in the state, featuring many different aspects of
the state's history.

The latest section, thanks to a Water for the West grant, is called the Tri-County Project and
chronicles the creation of a vast irrigation and hydro-electric system in the 1930s that's still
being updated and utilized today as the Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation Project.
Each section of the web site features lesson plans for teachers.
