Water for the West helped the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California's Protector
Del Agua Training Program fund two on-line classes instructing Los Angeles area residents
about efficient water use in landscape irrigation.

The animated and narrated presentations cover everything from selecting climate tolerant
plants to efficient use of water and fertilizer. There are even planting instructions. This helps
residents produce healthier, more abundant crops using less water.

In addition to on-line use of the classes, standalone CDs are being distributed.
